Lauren has been involved in theatrical performance since the age of three, when she was cast as a child pickpocket in Guys and Dolls. Inspired by her mother, a theatrical seamstress, Lauren fell in love with performing and never stopped. A soprano with a vocal range from F3 to F#6, she has extensive training in ballet, tap, and jazz. From a young age, she would sit backstage, mimicking the actors' voices, which developed her talent for character voices and accents, further enriching her experience in musical theater. While earning a degree in physics, Lauren continued working as a professional actress and became an Equity Membership Candidate. Currently a graduate student, she is poised to earn her master's degree in physics this spring.
Lauren is a classically trained ballerina who studied under Kay Sandel for ten years and Jacob Sparso, the ballet master for the Oklahoma City Ballet, for one year. She has been dancing for over 17 years. She went on to dance for her college dance team and is currently dancing as a company member for Ballet Midwest in Topeka, KS. While her background is primarily in ballet, she also has training in tap, jazz, and lyrical dance. Lauren has been a choreographer for multiple shows and theaters, including Oklahoma Shakespeare in the Park. She has also choreographed children's shows for local theaters and has worked as a dance instructor for In Motion Dance Company.
